River Edge Cafe & Espresso in Sacramento

I absolutely love this place. Their breakfast is delicious. The atmosphere is nice, and the staff is very friendly. The food portions are very sizable. I look forward to coming back again soon.

This is hands down my favorite breakfast, brunch, lunch place! They always have the best and welcoming smiles on their face with great customer service. The best place to cure a hangover with some hair of the dog that bit you.

We have been eating at River’s Edge for years. Never a problem. However.... we will NEVER eat there again. It is NOT ok for a table of FOUR who was seated 10 minutes AFTER our table of TWO, to receive their meals before us. River’s Edge is off the list for good. Besides, prices have increased exponentially. The food is good but NOT worth the jacked up prices. GOOD BYE, River’s Edge. HELLO, Mimosa House!

We came to this place for lunch. my friend recommended this place. Well, it was a winning. we were warmly welcomed by the staff members and we had a fantastic feeling. The meal was yummy. We enjoyed every moment and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Recommended.

A bit expensive, yet for a wonderful brunch it is well worth the price. Love this place if you love avacados since they are a staple of many of the dishes they prepare. The bagels with lox and capers are delicious!

Sooooooo good and the staff is super helpful and quick everytime

This place has great friendly service. All the windows make it very nice to sit in. The bathroom is clean and good is delicious. Even though they don’t serve dinner this is a great place to go after church.

Neighborhood family restaurant that's is great for breakfast and lunch. Sorry not for dinner. Specialty menu items is the stuff hash brown breakfast which are large portions. Good senior citizens menu. Multiple daily menu specials available. Lastly, draft beer is available as well as other alcoholic beverages Great atmosphere for hanging out with friends and family

Food was great! However $8.50 for ONE small glass of mimosa was not good comparing to $10 bottomless mimosas as other places. Servers were kind too!

Simply awesome. Parking is great and stuffed has browns thier specialty. Especially awesome to meet for breakfast and a bike ride etc.

A real pleasant surprise! Food was very good, and service was friendly and prompt! Nice list of summer specials, I had the chicken and biscuit combo plate for breakfast and it was outstanding. Reasonably priced as well, hearty breakfast for two was $41, so not bad in comparison to a lot of places at this quality level. Would definitely prefer to come here instead of bacon and butter in the future.

The service was nice, & the food was good too. I had 4 pieces of bacon, & they were done just the way I like it. Crispy, & yet had some chewy ends. My Belgian waffle was good. I asked 4 fresh strawberries, & they were delicious. They even added cinnamon on the strawberries. It sounded weird but it was actually alright.

Always amazing food and great service. And they are even keeping very strict detail to the corona requirements for businesses.

Awesome food! Absolutely spectacular. The pancakes were marvelous, the stuffed hash browns were the bee's knees & the service is always 2 thumbs up!

Epic. I had the fall special of pumpkin pancakes topped with apples, cinnamon & powdered sugar. Delicious. No syrup needed. Enough to share bcthe pancakes were overflowing the plate. Very friendly and attentive staff. $80 for breakfast for 4. Beers on tap looked good. Will be back to take advantage of this holiday promotion.

Great atmosphere, pleasant staff. The food is good, but not great, hence the 4 stars. My omelette was huge & delish, the roasted potatoes were slightly undercooked, the pancakes were tasty, but not thick, nor fluffy. My husbands fried steak & gravy had great flavor, but the gravy was so thick it was dang near a "pastey" consistency. Would I go back? Yes, I'm willing to give them another try. Perhaps something from the burger menu.

Great food! Had brunch delivered and it was still hot. The hollandaise is great which is no easy task, apparently. Poached eggs perfectly cooked, stuffed hash browns are a must. Chicken and waffles were crispy, not overcooked, and they season everything perfectly. Plus we were sent wet naps which is a considerate thing to send. Will be a repeat customer for sure!

Bacon bacon bacon.If you love bacon this is the place. The bacon is crispy and it has just the right amount of chewiness and flavor.. And the hangover with biscuits and gravy is perfect for just that or anyday.

Great breakfast, huge servings, and wonderful service. Staff was very attentive which is hard to come by when you sit outside sometimes. Loved this place.

Perfect little breakfast spot for a not so little breakfast. Michaelangelo is Rivers Edge and Stuffed hashbrowns are their Sistine Chapel.

My boyfriend and I decided to try this place for brunch. Bad idea. It started with a hair in his coffee creamer. Then the server came and was very rushed, almost annoyed that she had to take our order. Hardly made eye contact or checked on us. My boyfriend never had his coffee refilled. Then the food came and was over cooked with no flavor. For 15 bucks for a basic breakfast plate, it was ridiculous. We ordered a to go meal for our daughter and the server never put it in. We had to wait another 20 after we finished eating to flag her down and ask about the to go order and then wait. In summary not great food for a ridiculous price and poor service. The only reason it gets 2 stars is the hostess and food runners were all nice and were working hard to pick up the slack of our horrible server.

The food that was warm was good. All of our potatoes where cold which sucked. They are also extremely pricey but you get a lot of food. I would have liked a smaller portion for a smaller price.

They have fantastic Stuffed Hashbrowns and their Corned Beef and hash is very nice! The corned beef is cubed instead of shredded.

Great food and service with a smile. Pricing was decent. The space is small and can feel crowded when full but the food makes it worth it.

Its not wonder they received raving reviews from food critics and TV channels. YOU GATTTA TRY THIS PLACE>been coming here for a few years. Amazing everytime

They used to be great. Now using paper plates and prices have been raised on everything. Not worth the time to go there currently.

Stop here after leaving Lake Tahoe!! Definitely recommend stopping here for breakfast. The chicken and biscuit is amazing. The customer service is incredible too. The waitress was super sweet and took care of us very well!!

Biscuits and gravy so delicious but didnt get to enjoy the stuffed hashbrowns because they come with onion and I cant bring mysf to enjoy those.

As always, they're food was delicious, I brought a couple friends that had never been before and they were impressed and thanked me for recommending the place. I had my usual, which is Fair Oaks Eggs Benedict with country potatoes. It's your usual eggs Benedict only with a sausage crumble on top. It itself is delicious, but I like to treat myself when I do eat breakfast out and I get extra hollandaise sauce to spread over the potatoes. Everything is delicious.

I have been here many times, and even took part in one of their New Years eating challenges (I lost to Mark S. Allen, the guy on TV).Their food is some of the best in town, and there is such a wide variety that you could come here every day for a month and always eat something new!I've actually been here so many times that I've even met both of the owners.Great coffee, super friendly staff, they have a bar, just updated the interior recently, and if you come here you MUST try the stuffed hash browns!!!!!
